Deana Pizzo Recognized For DE&I Within Tech Industry

Deana Pizzo, CEO and Co-Founder of I.T. Solutions of South Florida, was recently recognized by a leading technology publication for her efforts to promote diversity, equity and inclusion within the workplace.

Pizzo is included in the Channel Futures 2022 DE&I 101 listing, officially released September 1, 2022. This year’s 101 honorees come from throughout the information and communication technology channel. Included are CEOs of international software firms, founders of MSPs, suppliers’ channel chiefs, sales directors for technology advisers and more. They educate, advocate and demonstrate a dedication to promoting DE&I both inside and outside the channel.

“I believe women have a place at all levels of operation, including in the C-suite. The importance of female leadership and perspective cannot be overstated, especially in typically male-dominated fields like technology,” Pizzo said.

While organizations in the channel are often acknowledged for DE&I programs they’ve launched, it’s the people at the grassroots level who get things started and keep the momentum going. The DE&I 101 turns a spotlight on those people. People who are impacting the industry, like Pizzo.

“Diversity is good for business, and I would love to inspire future female leaders to break boundaries,” she said.

Launched in 2021, the Channel Futures DE&I 101 recognizes individuals from diverse and multicultural backgrounds who are driving diversity, equity and inclusion in the information and communications technology channel through their words, actions and leadership.

Nominations for the 2022 DE&I 101 list were solicited from April 28 to June 27 on the Channel Futures website and through social media. All submissions were thoroughly reviewed by members of the Channel Futures editorial team with input from advisory board members.
